Natalie Marose, M.A.Ed. E.C.E
Natalie and her husband have two grown children. Her parents are retired educators. She grew up in the Midwest; living in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Nebraska and Minnesota.
Natalie is a loving, passionate master teacher licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education (PreK and K-6). Natalie received a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Concordia, Nebraska. Her Masters of Arts in Education – Early Childhood is from Concordia, St. Paul.
Natalie began her career in the field of education as a Kindergarten and Preschool Teacher/Director. She has been a Child Care, Preschool and Kindergarten teacher and has also taught at the elementary through college level. She truly loves working with young children and their families. Natalie has extensive teaching and administrative experience; in small town, suburban and urban settings. She enjoys working with organizations that are expanding to include high quality educational programs. She's worked in many aspects of program development, accreditation, administration, and while her children were young, her own nationally accredited My Friends Christian Child Care (1994-2001).
Natalie values the daily interactions with young children and their families as well as the ongoing work with those dedicated to keep high quality programs moving forward. Her desire to support children, their families, and the important adults in their lives has led Natalie to become a well received National Conference and Workshop Speaker, a certified "Master Trainer" with the Minnesota Center for Professional Development (MNCPD), adjunct Early Childhood Education College Instructor, a Katie Williams CARE Fellow, served on the "Minnesota Knowledge and Competency Framework for Early Childhood Professionals" (KCF) Advisory Group, and 2014 Provider of the Year.
Natalie's family has hosted international exchange students, she is an Early Childhood Consultant and Trainer. Natalie has been an American Red Cross CPR, Health and Safety Instructor, Child Development Associate (CDA) Advisor, Parent Aware Pilot Program Early Educator, Family Child Care Provider Mentor, Student Teaching Supervisor, Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Teacher, and Licensed Kindermusik® Educator. She continues to be active on various boards, committees, councils, and advisory groups.
Natalie was thrilled to "re-open" My Friends Christian Child Care & Preschool in August 2011, to partner with parents in their child's early years, providing the highest quality care and education.
